SERVICE & RESULTS
Renard Carlos has served his community and understands how local government works, what residents expect, and what it takes to advance priorities.

Renard Carlos is a community leader, former public servant, and nonprofit professional based in Warrenton, Virginia. A lifelong resident of the region, he has built his work around service, fiscal responsibility, and inclusive leadership, including four years on the Warrenton Town Council after being elected at-large in 2018.
He has also served in leadership and board roles across the community, including as Vice President of the Fauquier County NAACP and on the boards of Laurel Ridge Community College, the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation, and the Fauquier Hospital Community Board. With a background in financial services at Wells Fargo Clearing Services and FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, he brings a strong focus on accountability and stewardship. He now serves as Program & Outreach Officer at the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation, is a graduate of George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government, and lives in Warrenton with his wife, Lea.

I’m running to restore trust, focus on practical priorities, and make local government WORK FOR THE PEOPLE AGAIN. Leadership starts with listening!
